rude people

Ok, so most days i can walk in and be in a good mood ready to help people with a smile on my face. Normally the best customers are the older people that just need some help finding what they need. However some do not fall in this category. Quite honestly, even though we work in a store, and are here to help you, it does not mean we have to do EVERYTHING for you. I had one woman and her grandchild come in one day (the grandchild was at least 8). Once there was a shoe that she found that she liked, everything went down hill for here.
We did not have the size that she needed, so i asked if there was any other shoes similar that she might like. The grandmother began to fuss about how much cheaper the shoes were elsewhere and telling me to find a similar shoe in her size. I calmly found another shoe, and handed it to her while i took the plastic piece out of the other shoe. Evidently, this was not good enough and i was not adequately trained for my job. There is a lot more to this story, but its long and hard to explain.
There are also many many many other instances where similar experiences have happened and absolutely killed my mood.
I just think that it would be a WHOLE lot easier if people would just be nice, it would make my job easier, and would help with my day.
